De Boer history, from 1922 till now

The location is Antwerp, the year 1922. Frans De Boer produces his own roofing membranes. It's so good that his roofing competitors buy it too. In 1960 the second generation comes onto the scene. In 1984, under the present family management, we first began exporting our roofing membranes. Four years later we successfully filled a gap in the market with the DuO concept. The performance of the new high-tech product line is key to this success.

Today our products are distributed worldwide. They offer watertight solutions for the most diverse applications: from industrial buildings to skyscrapers and tunnels.

But we moved ahead. In recent years De Boer also offers green roof systems, maintenance services and safety equipment for your flat roof. Why? Because De Boer has a heart for “the fifth wall”.
